Practice Nurse

Location: Auckland City Campus and Grafton Campus, Auckland, New Zealand

Salary: NZD 73,400–90,700 prorated per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Provide general practice nursing services to university students across the Grafton and City Campus clinics.
• Deliver clinical care related to sexual health, mental health, wellness, health screening, and healthy lifestyle interventions.
• Support vaccination services and administer care within a multidisciplinary health setting.
• Work collaboratively with the nursing, administrative, and wider health services teams.
• Provide culturally competent care to young adults and diverse communities.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse in New Zealand with a current Practising Certificate.
• Experience in general practice or another multidisciplinary health setting, including clinical experience with young adults and diverse communities.
• Independent Authorised Vaccinator Certificate, or willingness to complete the required training.
• Current validated CPR and/or Advanced Life Support certification.
• Experience with health screening and healthy lifestyle interventions, plus a high level of cultural competence.

Nice to have

• Qualification to perform cervical smears.
• Experience or strong interest in sexual health and mental health nursing.
