Sr Finance Manager CFM IM Americas

What you will do

• Lead controllership of actuals and ensure accurate, timely, decision-ready financial reporting under US GAAP and company policies.
• Govern the end-to-end close process, including pre-close readiness, trial balance, income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, risk reviews, commentary, submissions, and final sign-off.
• Translate financial results into insights for CFOs, Finance Directors, FP&A, and business leaders, identifying risks, opportunities, and actions.
• Coordinate A2R, GSF, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Compliance, Corporate Services, and other process teams across the Americas.
• Drive risk remediation, SOX compliance, audit readiness, standardization, automation, digital enablement, and sustainable process improvements.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance organization while shaping scalable governance and service-delivery practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive finance experience, including substantial controllership, accounting, reporting, and financial analysis experience.
• At least 5 years of people-leadership experience developing managers or senior individual contributors.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP; practical IFRS, local GAAP, statutory reporting, tax coordination, and legal-entity accounting experience is preferred.
• Experience with SAP and enterprise financial reporting environments; exposure to CFIN, BRAVO, TM1/EPM, BlackLine/Cadency, Power BI, Alteryx, or UiPath is advantageous.
• English proficiency at C1 level or equivalent is required, including executive meetings, negotiations, presentations, and written communication. Availability to collaborate across North American and global time zones and travel as needed is required.

Nice to have

• Postgraduate degree or MBA and CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Experience supporting pharmaceutical or Innovative Medicine businesses and complex regional portfolios.
• Experience managing multiple markets, including the United States, Canada, or broader Americas.
• Knowledge of revenue reserves, gross-to-net, inventory, intercompany, foreign exchange, and market-specific accounting considerations.
