Sr Finance Manager, CFM Corporate, Vision Care Americas and Surgical Vision Global (MedTech)

Location: Bogotá, Distrito Capital, Colombia. The role requires collaboration across North American and global time zones and domestic or international travel as business needs require.

What you will do

• Own controllership of actuals and financial reporting for Corporate, Vision Care Americas, and Surgical Vision Global.
• Lead end-to-end close governance, including trial balance, P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, risk, commentary, BRAVO submissions, and final close approval.
• Translate financial results into insights and action plans for CFOs, Finance Directors, FP&A, and business leaders.
• Coordinate A2R, GSF, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Compliance, Corporate Services, and other process teams across regions.
• Maintain SOX compliance, audit readiness, issue management, and a strong control environment.
• Lead finance transformation, process standardization, automation, operating-model design, and team development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive finance experience and at least 5 years of people-leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP; exposure to IFRS, local GAAP, statutory reporting, tax coordination, and legal-entity accounting is preferred.
• Experience with controllership, accounting, external or management reporting, financial analysis, and complex matrix organizations.
• English proficiency at C1 level or equivalent, including executive meetings, negotiations, presentations, and written communication.
• Experience with SAP and enterprise financial reporting environments; availability to work across North American and global time zones.

Nice to have

• Postgraduate degree or MBA and CPA, CMA, or equivalent qualification.
• Experience supporting North American markets or senior North American stakeholders.
• Experience with CFIN, BRAVO, TM1/EPM, BlackLine/Cadency, Power BI, Alteryx, UiPath, or similar tools.
• Experience with global consolidation, inventory, capital, allocations, intercompany, working capital, and cross-regional governance.
