Country Finance Manager (Innovative Medicine) (Finance/Accounting): Leading end-to-end financial services for the U.S. and Canadian markets with an accent on Accounting to Report, strategic finance business partnering, compliance, and team leadership. Focus on delivering accurate financial closings, driving SOX compliance and process automation, supporting planning and strategic initiatives, and influencing cross-functional transformation across the Americas.

Location: Bogotá, Distrito Capital, Colombia. Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally within Latin America.

What you will do

  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities and ensure accurate financial statements.
  • Own Trial Balance, Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and BS-75 reviews and reporting.
  • Act as a strategic finance partner to business and senior leaders across the Americas.
  • Provide financial analysis for planning, forecasting, performance management, business initiatives, M&A, and strategic projects.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team in Latin America while driving alignment across countries and functions.
  • Drive standardization, process improvement, digital finance transformation, and value-generating initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive finance experience, including shared services and commercial finance.
  • 3+ years of people management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and preferably local LATAM accounting standards.
  • Strong English and Spanish communication skills are required.
  • Experience with stakeholder management, matrixed organizations, process improvement, and financial systems such as SAP, TM1, or BRAVO.

Nice to have

  • MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent advanced qualification.
  • Experience supporting North American markets.
  • Portuguese proficiency.
