Strategic Sourcing Specialist (Fintech)

Location: Lehi, Utah, United States. Hybrid work model with in-office attendance required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; remote placement is not considered. Local Mountain Time hours are required, with flexibility across time zones when necessary. Relocation support may be available based on job level, and travel to hirify.global offices or other locations may be required as needed.

Salary: $52,000–$62,000 base salary per year, plus potential equity awards and annual bonus.

What you will do

• Support sourcing initiatives from business needs through vendor selection, due diligence, negotiation, contracting, and implementation.
• Execute category plans and sourcing strategies that improve economics, service quality, and risk outcomes.
• Coordinate RFIs, RFPs, reverse auctions, requirements gathering, response evaluation, and data-driven recommendations.
• Support negotiations covering pricing, commercial terms, service levels, and performance measures with stakeholders and Legal.
• Develop financial analyses to identify savings opportunities and support sourcing and purchasing decisions.
• Coordinate vendor risk assessments and contribute to procurement projects across Technology, Operations, Marketing, Facilities, HR, Credit Risk, and Professional Services.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, vendor management, business analysis, management consulting, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, develop clear insights from data, and maintain attention to detail.
• Readiness to use AI tools for research, analysis, problem-solving, and learning while validating outputs and protecting confidential information.
• Must work in the Lehi hybrid office schedule and local Mountain Time hours; remote placement is not considered.

Nice to have

• Internship, academic, or professional experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or vendor management.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or another regulated industry.
• Familiarity with third-party risk, vendor management concepts, or procurement tools and processes.
