What you will do
- Drive production incidents from investigation through resolution while meeting service-level expectations.
- Monitor application, infrastructure, batch, scheduled-job, client-deliverable, and service-transmission health across multiple environments.
- Analyze logs, stack traces, system metrics, database behavior, and application diagnostics to identify root causes.
- Use SQL, Bash, Python, and operational scripting to validate data, improve troubleshooting, automate maintenance, and strengthen reporting.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, DevOps, QA, customer support, and client teams to resolve issues and improve platform stability.
- Create documentation, automations, service improvements, and operational standards aligned with governance and compliance practices.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in production support, technical operations, systems administration, or a related enterprise application support role.
- Hands-on experience with Linux or UNIX environments, application support, relational databases, and production troubleshooting.
- Strong SQL and scripting skills, including Bash or Python.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, secure file transfer protocols, DNS, version control, and IT operational processes.
- Strong analytical, communication, ownership, and continuous-improvement skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent practical experience or an associate degree with relevant experience may be considered.
