Head of Subscription Revenue

Location: Budapest, Hungary

Salary: HUF 20,000,000–24,000,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead business-critical initiatives for the subscription revenue function.
• Manage and develop a 16-person subscription revenue team.
• Oversee revenue accounting, monthly close, variance analysis, reporting, forecasting, and customer contract operations.
• Drive process improvements, business intelligence solutions, revenue system enhancements, and scalable reporting.
• Provide accounting guidance for complex customer contracts and revenue recognition matters.
• Support internal, external, and SOX audits, system implementations, M&A activity, and other special projects.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience and a university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience managing teams, with a focus on people management and team development.
• Accounting experience in public accounting or multinational public companies reporting under US GAAP or IFRS.
• Ability to assess complex and judgmental matters, communicate solutions clearly, and deliver business initiatives on time.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Power BI and Excel, plus experience with large ERP systems such as SAP.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse cultures in a global organization.

Nice to have

• Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant, or equivalent qualification.
