Lead, Contract Administrator (Aerospace & Defense): Managing complex contracts and negotiations for aerospace and defense programs with an accent on contractual compliance, risk mitigation, customer relations, and financial objectives. Focus on reviewing legal terms, drafting clauses and agreements, negotiating requirements and pricing, and maintaining Canadian and U.S. government contracting obligations.
Location: Mirabel, Quebec, or Enfield, Nova Scotia, Canada; day shift
Salary: CAD 88,500–138,500 annually

What you will do
- Manage contractual reviews for solicitations, proposals, contract changes, and ongoing contract administration.
- Review, draft, interpret, and negotiate terms, conditions, contractual clauses, and non-disclosure agreements.
- Develop contractual and risk-mitigation strategies supporting orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and cash flow.
- Establish and maintain the primary contractual interface with customers and communicate changes across internal and external functions.
- Analyze laws, regulations, contract trends, and special provisions to ensure compliance with applicable requirements and corporate policies.
- Support billing follow-up, customer payments, business development, and improvements to processes, systems, and products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Law with at least 10 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with at least 6 years of related experience.
- Strong negotiation skills, knowledge of legal terms and conditions, business acumen, and strong business writing skills.
- French and English bilingual proficiency, both oral and written, is required.
- Must be eligible for registration with Canada’s Controlled Goods Program.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance.
- Must be eligible to meet U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations requirements.
Nice to have
- Experience reviewing, negotiating, drafting, and summarizing contractual agreements and terms.
- Experience with development, production, sustainment, and services contracts.
- Experience in aerospace and defense, international contracting, and Canadian or U.S. government contracting.
- Experience with requirements, pricing, intellectual property, data rights, and source-selection risk mitigation plans.
