Senior Penetration Tester (Microsoft 365 and Azure Security)

Location: United States; must work East Coast hours. The role includes remote and on-site testing of client networks and infrastructure.

What you will do

• Plan, create, and execute advanced penetration testing methods, scripts, and assessments.
• Assess Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
• Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments of Azure infrastructure and applications.
• Lead and mentor penetration testers and coordinate testing with client teams.
• Simulate security breaches across networks, web applications, wireless infrastructure, and computer systems.
• Produce detailed reports, risk assessments, mitigation recommendations, and management briefings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of cybersecurity experience; additional relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• At least 7 years of experience in red team assessments and penetration testing, including intranet, internet, web, wireless, and social engineering assessments.
• Strong Microsoft 365 and Azure Security expertise.
• One or more relevant certifications, such as OSCP, OSWP, GPEN, GWAPT, OSCE, OSEE, GXPN, MS-500, or AZ-500.
• Expertise with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Java, Perl, and similar technologies, plus proficiency with tools including Kali Linux, Binwalk, and Burp.
• Experience as a subject matter expert or team lead, with strong vulnerability analysis, mitigation planning, and communication skills.
