Game Programmer (C#)

Location: Hybrid role based at 100 Dundas Street 600, London, Ontario, Canada

Salary: $50,000–$60,000 per year

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and optimize pipelines for importing art, audio, animation, levels, and design data into the game engine.
• Collaborate with artists, game designers, and sound designers to improve content workflows.
• Design tools, plugins, automation scripts, and content validation systems for internal development teams.
• Partner with Quality Assurance to create debugging tools and automated tests for content on handheld devices.
• Develop mechanisms for unit testing, regression testing, data verification, and game/build integrity validation.
• Write technical test cases and maintain clean, documented integration frameworks.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Experience with C#, Java, and JavaScript.
• Experience creating developer-facing tools, editor extensions, or asset validation systems.
• Knowledge of test automation, technical validation strategies, and functional or regression test specifications for game content.
• Familiarity with animation, networking, web servers, databases, mobile app development, and source control systems.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, mathematical, teamwork, and deadline-management skills.
