Social Media Specialist (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own the organic social media content plan and publishing for Instagram and Facebook, adapting the format and tone to each platform.
• Develop content based on Mexican cultural codes, current internet culture, and art.
• Set up in-house production by preparing scripts, storyboards, references, and collaborating with designers and motion designers.
• Review successful and unsuccessful posts, identify patterns, and scale effective formats.
• Monitor share of voice, sentiment, and competitors through social listening with the marketing analytics team.
• Coordinate with the product team to prioritize announcements and explain financial product features clearly.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in social media, preferably in fintech, banking, or another high-trust industry.
• Experience creating aesthetic or art-driven social media content.
• Ability to work with reach, engagement rate, format performance, and competitor benchmarking data.
• Basic knowledge of contemporary art and visual culture, with a strong understanding of Mexican creative work.
• Ability to quickly understand financial products and explain them in plain language.
• Native or C1 Spanish and B2+ English required.
