What you will do

• Develop automated test solutions for RF and mixed signal hardware including frequency converters, amplifiers, oscillators, and SDRs.
• Characterize and calibrate radio subsystem performance metrics such as gain, phase noise, and emissions compliance.
• Create and manage test plans coordinating with hardware engineers to validate design requirements.
• Develop Python libraries for interfacing with test instruments and processing results.
• Validate and qualify hardware designs for space environments and provide feedback to designers.
• Assist in recruiting and scaling the test engineering team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 1-6 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Python or other high-level scripting languages.
• Experience with RF and mixed signal test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status required due to export regulations.

Nice to have

• 2+ years testing communications or RF systems.
• Experience with test automation.
• Strong understanding of digital communications concepts.
• Experience with FPGAs or software defined radios.
• PCB design experience using Altium or similar tools.
• Familiarity with space electronics test and qualification.
