TL;DR
Senior Data QC Engineer (SQL/Python/Cloud Data Platforms): Testing data migration, integration, transformation, and quality across cloud platforms, Databricks, Snowflake, and layered data architectures with an accent on source-to-target reconciliation, ETL/ELT validation, and production-ready data delivery. Focus on developing automated and manual test coverage, investigating data quality issues, and validating pipelines across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

What you will do
- Perform data migration testing, including source-to-target reconciliation and ETL/ELT validation.
- Validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and transformations across Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers.
- Test data pipelines and workflows across AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake.
- Develop and maintain manual test cases and applicable automated tests using Python and QMetry or similar tools.
- Monitor data quality with tools such as Monte Carlo and investigate issues with data engineers.
- Maintain test documentation, execution results, defect reports, and participate in Agile ceremonies.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software testing experience, preferably in data engineering, ETL, or data migration projects.
- Strong SQL, data validation, and source-to-target reconciliation experience.
- Hands-on experience testing data pipelines and transformations across cloud environments.
- Experience with Python for test automation and familiarity with QMetry or similar test management tools.
- Understanding of Databricks, Snowflake, layered data architectures, and Power BI or other BI reporting solutions.
- Upper-Intermediate or higher English, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience working in Agile cross-functional teams.

- Familiarity with data observability and quality monitoring tools such as Monte Carlo.
