Senior Lecturer / Lecturer (Translation)

What you will do

• Develop, coordinate, and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in practical translation, translation studies, research and AI skills, and translation technology.
• Contribute to curriculum enhancement and programme promotion.
• Advise and support students.
• Engage in scholarly and outreach activities.
• Participate in Department, School, and University activities and undertake duties assigned by the Dean or nominee.

Requirements

• Higher degree in Translation or a related discipline; a doctorate is preferred.
• Excellent command of Chinese, including Cantonese and Putonghua, and English.
• Substantial teaching or professional experience, including programme development and course administration.
• Track record of scholarly or professional activities in translation or related areas.
• Readiness to contribute to new aspects of translation provision and familiarity with current trends and future developments.
