TL;DR
Email Security and Site Reliability Engineer (AI) (Proofpoint/Microsoft Defender, Python/PowerShell): Building and operating reliable email security controls, automated SOAR workflows, and enterprise mail-routing defenses with an accent on threat containment, API integrations, and AI-assisted engineering. Focus on maintaining Proofpoint and Microsoft Defender protections, designing SRE/SecRE monitoring and fail-secure automation, and enforcing adaptive browser isolation for high-risk users.
Location: Manila Net Park Office, Manila, Philippines; flexible work schedule with available work-from-home arrangements.

What you will do
- Design and optimize automated incident-response playbooks in Cortex XSOAR and Torq for Email Security and SOC operations.
- Build and maintain API integrations between Proofpoint, Microsoft Defender for Office 365, and other security tools.
- Write Python and PowerShell automation for email-header parsing, security-log queries, data manipulation, and response orchestration.
- Configure Proofpoint Enterprise Gateway and tune Microsoft Defender controls to detect, investigate, and remediate email threats.
- Manage SPF, DKIM, DMARC, SMTP routing, DNS, MX records, and email-delivery investigations.
- Define reliability monitoring, alerting, SLIs, and SLOs for mail routing and security-control pipelines, including adaptive browser isolation for high-risk users.
Requirements
- Practical experience with enterprise SOAR platforms, specifically Cortex XSOAR and/or Torq.
- Proficiency in Python and PowerShell for security automation, data parsing, and REST API integrations.
- Deep administration experience with Proofpoint Enterprise Gateway, TAP, CTR/TRAP, and Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
- Experience with system reliability, automated incident response, and critical enterprise infrastructure.
- Experience deploying cloud-based URL or web isolation policies based on user-risk criteria.
- In-depth knowledge of SMTP routing, DNS, MX records, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC; demonstrated use of AI or LLM-based engineering tools.

- Proofpoint Certified Administrator or Engineer certification.
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Security Automation Engineer or Microsoft SC-200 certification.
