Financial Analyst - Technology (FP&A): Supporting technology financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and cost management with an accent on budgets, capital investments, headcount, allocations, and vendor spend. Focus on analyzing variances, maintaining financial models, supporting close and planning cycles, and translating technology cost drivers into actionable leadership insights.

What you will do

  • Review Workday Financial reports, detailed technology spending, paid invoices, and journal entries.
  • Consolidate and analyze technology operating and capital budgets, forecasts, headcount, vendor spend, allocations, and financial reports.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including accruals, expense validation, and reporting.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, charts, and executive-ready financial summaries.
  • Perform budget-to-actual, forecast-to-actual, and period-over-period variance analysis to identify cost drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support annual budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, cost allocation, chargebacks, financial models, and business-case analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related field.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
  • High proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience supporting technology or other complex cost functions is preferred.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to Power BI, Claude, and Copilot.
  • Experience with enterprise planning, financial reporting, or technology financial management tools.
  • Experience in the insurance or finance industry.
