Director of Platform Engineering (AI Security)

What you will do

• Lead and grow a team across software engineering, Platform, DevOps, and infrastructure.
• Own the architecture and operational excellence of multi-cloud infrastructure.
• Drive platform capabilities including Kubernetes, CI/CD, and BYOC.
• Partner with Product, R&D, and executive leadership on technical direction and business priorities.
• Build scalable engineering processes, culture, and best practices.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering managers and senior individual contributors.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience, including direct management of software engineering and Platform/DevOps/Infrastructure functions.
• 9+ years of overall experience in the field.
• Experience scaling technical teams in a high-growth startup environment.
• Deep hands-on experience with cloud architecture across AWS, GCP, or Azure, plus Kubernetes and CI/CD at scale.
• Strong familiarity with modern AI concepts and practical experience applying AI to engineering workflows, including agent orchestration or AI-driven developer tooling.
• Excellent communication skills and experience partnering with cross-functional leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience in cybersecurity or another regulated enterprise domain.
• Experience with identity, data, or cloud security platforms.
• Background building developer platforms or internal tooling.
• Experience with regulated enterprise environments such as FedRAMP or SOC2.
