TL;DR
Technical Support Specialist (Telehealth): Resolving customer-facing technical issues across Amwell’s telehealth products with an accent on application troubleshooting, incident support, ticket documentation, and customer experience. Focus on reproducing software and hardware issues, analyzing logs and root causes, coordinating escalations with engineering and Tier 3 teams, and providing rotational after-hours support.

Base salary: $52,200–$63,800 per year

What you will do
- Resolve technical issues for customers across ’s web, mobile, software, and hardware products.
- Create, track, and document support tickets with timelines, findings, reproduction steps, and resolution details.
- Investigate application issues, analyze logs, reproduce recurring problems, and escalate cases to Tier 3, engineering, hosting, developers, or vendors.
- Communicate with customers and internal teams through phone, email, chat, and other channels while handling time-sensitive incidents professionally.
- Support critical incident management and identify recurring product or vendor performance trends.
- Contribute to knowledge articles and training materials while developing subject-matter expertise in product workflows.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of customer-facing technical support experience with software and applications, including web and mobile support.
- Experience with Windows, Windows 10, macOS, iOS, and Android operating systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and desktop conferencing tools such as Teams and Zoom.
- Strong knowledge of at least one general-purpose programming language, such as Java or Python.
- Understanding of application troubleshooting, root cause analysis, structured problem-solving, and application log analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, customer focus, independence, and the ability to work in fast-paced, interruption-prone environments.
Nice to have
- Exposure to WebRTC, integrations, AWS CloudWatch, Elasticsearch/Kibana, Rhapsody, or FHIR.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Salesforce.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or certifications such as A+, ITIL, or GCP.
