Focus on translating conceptual models into production schemas, refining ETL/ELT integrations, documenting transformation logic, and optimizing data pipelines.

What you will do
- Design and implement scalable, performant, and maintainable physical data models in Snowflake.
- Translate conceptual and logical models into Snowflake-ready schemas, tables, and views.
- Collaborate with data engineers on ETL/ELT processes and data integration patterns.
- Align models and metadata with data governance standards and platforms such as Collibra.
- Document modeling and transformation logic to support traceability and regulatory compliance.
- Support performance tuning and optimization of data pipelines while working with technical and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience as a Data Modeler or in a similar role.
- Proven expertise in Snowflake physical data modeling and SQL.
- Understanding of data integration and ETL/ELT principles.
- Experience with metadata and data governance platforms, ideally Collibra.
- Knowledge of data modeling best practices, including star schema, normalization, and data vault.
- Ability to work independently in a cross-functional environment with strong communication and documentation skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with dbt, Matillion, or Fivetran.
- Familiarity with AWS services, particularly S3.
- Experience with pharmaceutical or life sciences data and regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with data quality tools such as Ataccama.
