What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance frontend applications for digital banking, payments, lending, wealth management, and other financial services.
- Build reusable frontend components with React, Angular, or Vue.js and create intuitive interfaces for financial transactions, account management, reporting, and payment workflows.
- Integrate frontend systems with APIs, payment gateways, banking services, fraud prevention tools, and third-party financial platforms.
- Implement authentication, authorization, secure session management, accessibility, data privacy, and application security controls.
- Optimize performance, responsiveness, scalability, and reliability across devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend Engineering, and compliance teams; conduct code reviews and resolve production issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of fintech experience and strong knowledge of financial systems and fintech products.
- Frontend development experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js, plus JavaScript and TypeScript expertise.
- Experience with secure application development, payment gateway and API integration, and Agile product development.
- Awareness of financial regulations, data privacy, accessibility, and security best practices.
- Experience implementing frontend controls that support PCI-DSS and consent and data collection interfaces compliant with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
