Senior Supplier Quality Engineer (Additive Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Memphis, Tennessee, United States; up to 25% travel to supplier and business locations. Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at hire and throughout employment.

Salary: $99,200–$148,800 annually, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Assess and qualify additive manufacturing suppliers through technical evaluations, process reviews, audits, and quality system assessments.
• Evaluate process capability, validation strategies, manufacturing controls, materials, equipment, and compliance with GMP and applicable standards.
• Support PPAP, supplier qualification, validation, and supplier performance management for new and existing suppliers.
• Investigate supplier quality issues, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and monitor effectiveness.
• Develop risk-based supplier quality strategies and define receiving inspection requirements, test methods, and quality controls.
• Partner with New Product Development, Component Engineering, suppliers, and Supplier Quality teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or master's degree with 2+ years, or PhD with 0 years of relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in supplier quality, quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related quality-focused role in regulated manufacturing.
• Experience supporting regulated manufacturing quality and regulatory requirements.
• Must work onsite in Memphis, Tennessee, and be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• For bachelor's degrees earned outside the United States, the degree must satisfy the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).

Nice to have

• Experience with additive manufacturing technologies, processes, materials, equipment, or supplier networks.
• Experience with supplier assessments, qualification activities, audits, or quality system evaluations.
• Knowledge of PPAP, process validation, manufacturing controls, CAPA, continuous improvement, quality management systems, and risk management.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Supplier Quality Professional, or similar certification.
