TL;DR
Functional Regression Engineer (Automotive): Building and maintaining functional regression and integration test environments for advanced mmWave imaging radar systems with an accent on Python automation, CI/CD execution, and system-level validation. Focus on analyzing regression cycles, debugging software and hardware integration issues, and applying AI, SQL, and cloud-based tools to classify test results and defects.

What you will do
- Own and run nightly and weekly functional regression cycles from software and hardware drops through final status reporting.
- Execute and analyze integration test plans for advanced mmWave imaging radar systems.
- Develop, debug, and maintain Python tests across multiple parallel projects.
- Run and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or equivalent tools on Linux and Windows.
- Collaborate with Software and Algorithm teams to investigate regression and integration findings.
- Build, integrate, and maintain software and hardware test environments and classify results using AI, SQL, and cloud-based analysis tools.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation, software or firmware validation, and integration.
- Python coding skills and practical experience with CI/CD execution in multi-product environments.
- Experience with Git, GitLab, JIRA, Confluence, Linux, Windows, logging, and test analysis debugging.
- Ability to work in an Agile and highly dynamic development environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with PyTest or a similar Python test framework.
- Network stack experience, including IPv4, UDP/TCP, and Wireshark debugging.
- Automotive or ADAS validation experience, especially with radar or other sensors.
- Firmware real-time debugging experience.
- Experience with AI coding tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude.
