TL;DR
Senior Android Engineer (Kotlin/Jetpack Compose): Building and evolving production Android features for Tutti and Anibis mobile apps with an accent on mobile architecture, data layers, and product quality. Focus on designing scalable platform patterns, driving the Compose migration, and balancing maintainability with fast delivery.

Location: Hybrid work from SMG offices at Milutina Milankovića 1i, Belgrade, Serbia

What you will do

  • Build Android features end-to-end, from technical design through production.
  • Develop and evolve mobile products for Tutti and Anibis, with opportunities to collaborate across Android and iOS.
  • Shape mobile architecture decisions covering data layers, state management, modularization, and platform patterns.
  • Improve app quality, performance, and maintainability while driving the Jetpack Compose migration.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, Mobile, and Backend teams through code reviews and technical discussions.
  • Share engineering knowledge and contribute to pragmatic technical decisions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience building production Android applications with Kotlin.
  • Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and production features.
  • Strong understanding of clean architecture and experience evolving data layers with repositories, caching, and error handling.
  • Experience with Kotlin Coroutines, Flows, REST APIs, or backend-for-frontend patterns.
  • Ability to explain design decisions clearly and balance code quality, maintainability, and delivery.
  • Good English is required as the working language in the international team.

Nice to have

  • Professional iOS development experience with Swift or SwiftUI.
  • Experience with products supported across Android and iOS.
  • Experience contributing to mobile architecture or shared platform decisions.
  • Open-source or side-project contributions demonstrating engineering craft.
