Incident Response Analyst (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Conduct daily incident response, security operations, detection, and response activities across a global environment.
• Design, engineer, and implement incident response runbooks and playbooks.
• Coordinate with technical and business stakeholders during incident response investigations.
• Perform host, cloud, network, memory, and log analysis, including digital forensics.
• Identify and mitigate information security threats and provide findings and recommendations from security events and reports.
• Measure and continuously improve the effectiveness of technical security controls, including periodic on-call support.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in information technology, including ideally 2 years in hands-on incident response, threat hunting, or forensics.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with at least two areas including Windows or Linux forensics, network traffic analysis, log analysis, and static or dynamic malware analysis.
• Strong understanding of servers, operating systems, networks, firewalls, cloud applications, and infrastructure.
• Expertise building and managing incident response workflows, playbooks, and security control validation frameworks.
• Understanding of the NIST framework and continuous improvement practices.
