Manufacturing Manager (Medical Devices)

What you will do

• Lead the Production function and optimize the use of people, materials, and manufacturing capacity.
• Drive collaboration across Production, Planning, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, HR, and Finance.
• Manage operational performance across Safety, Quality, Service, Cost, and business-plan targets.
• Lead daily production reviews, KPI-driven performance management, and tiered operational governance.
• Implement continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, and the hirify.global Production System.
• Coach Manufacturing Supervisors, support employee development, and lead change-management initiatives.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience leading change, improving operational performance, coaching teams, and developing employees.
• Business and financial acumen, strong communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, manufacturing ERP systems, automation technologies, robotics, PLCs, vision systems, and manufacturing processes.
• Fluent English communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Medical device or other FDA-regulated manufacturing experience.
• MBA, master’s degree, Lean Sigma, or continuous improvement certification.
