Italian Teacher (IT Vocational Language)

Location: Trieste, Italy; in-person classes. Classes are held Monday to Friday in the morning, between 9:00 and 13:00, and the assignment ends no later than 16 November 2026.

Total compensation: €1,200 for 40 hours of Italian classes and related deliverables.

What you will do

• Plan and deliver Italian lessons at A2-B1-B2 levels for Digital Horizons participants.
• Integrate IT terminology and vocational language relevant to software development.
• Create tailored learning materials and clarify general and IT-specific language content.
• Identify learning gaps, adapt teaching strategies, and support diverse linguistic needs.
• Manage classroom dynamics, encourage collaborative learning, and promote intercultural communication.
• Track attendance, progress, and outcomes while collaborating with the IT trainer, ENAIP staff, and IRC Integration Counselor.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing learning content and delivering Italian language group classes.
• Bachelor’s degree in language or social sciences.
• Experience in multicultural educational environments.
• Knowledge of strength-based education, participatory learning, and basic educational and psychological principles.
• Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Empathy, patience, flexibility, teamwork, and comfort working in a multicultural environment.

Nice to have

• Experience working with migrants or young people.
• Experience or knowledge of the IT sector.
• Additional knowledge of English, Arabic, Spanish, French, Ukrainian, Urdu, Pashtu, or Farsi.
