Location: Based in the IRC Beirut office in Lebanon, with frequent travel to programme and partner implementation sites across Lebanon

What you will do
- Provide technical leadership and oversight for Education and Early Childhood Development programming in line with IRC standards, national curricula, and international best practices.
- Develop, review, and contextualize curricula, learning materials, technical tools, quality benchmarks, and guidance.
- Coordinate technically with government ministries, national institutions, donors, NGOs, UN agencies, and sector working groups.
- Design and deliver training, Training of Trainers, coaching, and capacity-building for facilitators, teachers, caregivers, government staff, and partners.
- Conduct field visits and structured observations, provide technical coaching, assess implementation quality, and identify capacity-building needs.
- Work with MEAL colleagues to review data, support assessments and evaluations, document learning, and translate evidence into program improvements.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of relevant professional experience in Early Childhood Development programming, including technical design and delivery.
- Previous NGO or INGO experience and experience coordinating with government ministries and institutional stakeholders.
- Strong facilitation, training design, delivery, capacity-building, representation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Good understanding of MEAL approaches and using data and evidence to improve programme quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development or a related field.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
