Transformation Communication Specialist

Location: Viby J, Aarhus, Denmark; approximately 10–15 travel days per year to support implementation across other Nordic countries after the Denmark rollout.

What you will do

• Execute and further develop the communication and engagement strategy for the Athene transformation programme.
• Define a unified Athene narrative across workstreams, projects, functions, and markets.
• Develop communication plans, leadership materials, campaigns, newsletters, intranet content, and Viva Engage content.
• Equip leaders to communicate change and help employees understand how Athene affects their daily work.
• Define KPIs and measure understanding, engagement, readiness, and adoption.
• Use feedback and insights to continuously improve the communication approach.

Requirements

• Experience in internal communication, preferably change communication for transformation, implementation, or digitalisation programmes.
• Strong storytelling skills and the ability to make complex processes, systems, and organisational changes simple and engaging.
• Experience with intranets, Viva Engage, or similar digital communication platforms and communities.
• Excellent writing skills and the ability to develop communication strategies, plans, and content independently, supported by AI tools.
• Experience with Canva or similar visual design tools for presentations, infographics, and communication materials.
• Fluent written and spoken Danish and English are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with video production.
• Knowledge of another Nordic language.
