PCIe Firmware Expert (AI Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Design and develop real-time embedded firmware in C, including low-level drivers and control logic for complex hardware blocks.
• Own PCIe firmware features end to end, including link training, enumeration, error handling, and recovery.
• Develop and debug firmware in pre-silicon emulation environments and lead post-silicon bring-up and laboratory debugging.
• Investigate complex PCIe and system-level issues with architecture, design, validation, and customer teams.
• Extend the COSMOS SDK alongside firmware features and adapt both to customer requirements.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on firmware engineering experience.
• Embedded and real-time firmware development experience using C on resource-constrained, bare-metal, or RTOS-based systems.
• Strong understanding of processor architecture, memory-mapped registers, interrupts, and hardware/software interaction.
• Expert knowledge of PCIe, including LTSSM, link training, enumeration, configuration space, AER, reset, and recovery flows.
• Hands-on pre-silicon and post-silicon development, SoC bring-up, PCIe protocol analysis, JTAG debugging, log analysis, and register-level debugging.
