TL;DR
Site Reliability Engineer II (Cloud/Automation): Administering, monitoring, and improving complex production systems and cloud infrastructure with an accent on reliability engineering, observability, automation, and security. Focus on defining SLOs, resolving incidents and performance bottlenecks, building deployment tools, and strengthening disaster recovery and cloud security.

What you will do
- Monitor service performance, reliability metrics, infrastructure stability, and production environments.
- Define and maintain Service Level Objectives, dashboards, monitoring rules, and alerts.
- Analyze system performance, resolve bottlenecks, and implement reliability and scalability improvements.
- Maintain automated deployments, self-service tools, infrastructure automation, and operational scripts.
- Participate in disaster recovery testing, incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-incident reporting.
- Improve cloud security through vulnerability mitigation, security auditing automation, and collaboration with security teams.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of operating systems, networking, and database management.
- Advanced scripting and automation skills for deployment, scaling, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in at least one of Ruby, Go, or Java.
- Experience with infrastructure and configuration management through automation, cloud environments, RESTful APIs, and API testing tools such as Postman.
- Advanced experience creating monitoring and alerting rules with Prometheus and Grafana.
- Excellent command of English, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a university degree in computer science or a related field.
Nice to have
- Relevant IT certifications.
- System administration experience.
- Experience with open-source technologies, software development, system engineering, scripting languages, and multiple cloud providers.
