Commercial Strategy & Operations Intern (Film & Entertainment)

Location: Central London, United Kingdom; on-site in the office four days per week

hirify.global is a global media and entertainment company producing and distributing film, television, and streaming content through brands including Universal Pictures and DreamWorks Animation.

What you will do

• Support business strategies with key cinema clients to help deliver the studio’s fair share of box office revenues.
• Collect, reconcile, and report performance metrics.
• Analyse the impact of Universal’s trading practices and provide data-driven insights.
• Work with international colleagues across EMEA, APAC, and LATAM on regional and local commercial concerns.
• Develop knowledge of film distribution, exhibition, and changing consumer behaviour.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the full internship period from 5 July 2027 to 21 July 2028.
• Must be able to work on-site in hirify.global’s Central London office four days per week.
• Currently studying at university and returning to full-time education in autumn 2028, or seeking work experience after A-Levels, an equivalent course, or an apprenticeship.
• Data-driven mindset, strong attention to detail, and experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Collaborative communication skills, including confidence working with international colleagues across divisions and seniority levels.
• Ability to manage varied duties under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines; passion for film and entertainment.

Nice to have

• Statistical background and experience with SQL or an equivalent programming language.
• Enthusiasm for developing new technical skills and industry knowledge.
