Engineering Manager (Manufacturing Automation)

Location: Onsite in Lausanne, Vaud, Switzerland

Salary: CHF 144,000–216,000 per year, plus eligibility for the hirify.global Incentive Plan short-term incentive.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team covering equipment development, manufacturing automation, and software engineering.
• Set engineering priorities and execute the equipment development roadmap in alignment with site and global strategies.
• Partner with Research & Development, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Global Engineering to accelerate product launches and manufacturing readiness.
• Lead the development, qualification, validation, and manufacturing transfer of advanced equipment and automation solutions.
• Drive process development, industrialization strategies, technology development, product transfers, and new product introduction programs.
• Establish project governance and performance metrics while advancing continuous improvement, quality, delivery, cost, and innovation.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of engineering experience in medical devices or high-volume industries such as microelectronics, automotive, or pharmaceuticals.
• At least 5 years of people leadership experience and proven experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience in product industrialization, process development, manufacturing engineering, or automation.
• Strong project and stakeholder management capabilities.
