Sr. Engineering Manager - Falcon Cloud Security

Location: Tel Aviv, Israel office; strong leadership presence and close collaboration with cross-functional teams required

What you will do

• Lead and grow a backend engineering team developing real-time CDR and scalable cloud control plane services.
• Design and implement services for sensor configuration, management, and high-volume telemetry processing.
• Collaborate with cloud platform, security research, data science, product management, and customer-facing teams.
• Set product strategy, technical direction, architecture, prioritization, and engineering standards.
• Mentor engineers, plan team capacity, allocate resources, and drive hiring initiatives.
• Interface with customers to understand needs and support successful product adoption.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of engineering management experience with a strong technical background.
• Extensive cloud security experience and deep knowledge of AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Strong programming skills in Python and Go.
• Experience delivering complex technical products, leading teams, strategic planning, stakeholder management, and talent development.
• Experience with AI-driven development methodologies and using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.

Nice to have

• Distributed systems and data processing experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, or Postgres.
• Knowledge of cloud security frameworks, standards, security automation, and orchestration.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Open-source or security community contributions.
