Automation Engineer - Delivery & Solutions

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; hybrid work arrangement

Base salary: EUR 2,100–3,400 per month for a full-time role, plus performance-based variable compensation.

What you will do

• Analyse business and underwriting requirements and translate them into automated solutions.
• Develop, configure, test and maintain rules and automation solutions in Magnum, hirify.global’s automated underwriting platform.
• Perform functional, integration, regression and scenario testing, and support defect resolution, releases, production validation and root-cause analysis.
• Own assigned solutions and initiatives from requirements through implementation within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Coordinate dependencies, risks, priorities and delivery activities across business and technical teams.
• Communicate technical topics and delivery status to stakeholders, contribute to pragmatic decisions and mentor colleagues.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in technology, automation, software delivery or a related field.
• Hands-on experience developing, configuring, testing or implementing technical solutions.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum environments and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience coordinating projects, workstreams or cross-functional activities.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take ownership and work effectively across business and technical teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with business rules, workflow or automation platforms.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, Java, SQL or similar technologies.
• Experience with Magnum, automated underwriting platforms, UiPath, RPA or other automation technologies.
• Experience with JIRA, Agile delivery tools, or relevant Agile, Product Owner or Project Management certification.
• Mentoring experience or experience working with globally distributed teams.
