What you will do
- Manage the clinical caseload and provide specialized aviation medicine expertise for air crew.
- Deliver medical care, assess fit-to-fly conditions, and respond to emergencies in the Medical Centre.
- Participate in specialist service planning, medical audits, and licensing compliance activities.
- Collect and analyze service data and report key insights to management.
- Assist with aviation and preventive medicine policies, procedures, and directives.
- Develop clinical care pathways with healthcare provider partners and provide general medicine consultations when needed.
Requirements
- Diploma in Medicine of at least two years, plus a postgraduate qualification in Aviation Medicine from an institution recognized by the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi.
- HAAD license to practice within the specialty is required.
- At least 10 years of relevant overall experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in aviation medicine within a clinical or hospital setting after obtaining the higher qualification.
- Strong understanding of HAAD and GCAA regulations and standards.
