What you will do

• Implement and enforce security policies, standards, and cybersecurity baseline activities.
• Operate security monitoring, vulnerability scanning, security testing, incident review, and security reporting.
• Investigate security incidents using evidence, system logs, and audit trails.
• Deliver internal cybersecurity projects and provide operational support to IT and network teams.
• Collect cybersecurity risk and incident data, maintain operational documentation, and meet defined KPIs and KRIs.
• Develop and tune threat detection analytics, communicate risk management practices, and train new engineers.

Requirements

• At least two years of operational experience in cybersecurity, IT, or networking.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or another technical discipline.
• Solid knowledge of IT and security technologies, including AV/HIDS, IDPS, WAF, infrastructure tiers, and virtualization.
• Understanding of telecommunications systems, networks, protocols, and services such as billing, mediation, provisioning, signalling, and VoIP.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux and Windows administration, basic scripting, and PowerShell.
• Knowledge of cyber intelligence risks, data protection, information security regulations, and telecommunications standards.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM.
