Lead Planner and Scheduler (Primavera P6)

What you will do

• Maintain accurate multi-discipline preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for production assets.
• Support maintenance advisors with overdue maintenance, safety-critical elements, anomaly management, backlog management, and work prioritization.
• Coordinate contractor support from scope definition through cost, resource, equipment, materials, and duration reviews.
• Manage maintenance processes, standards, KPIs, daily and weekly trackers, forecasts, reports, and contract fund updates.
• Lead the six- and twelve-week maintenance activity schedule, ensuring gate compliance, accurate O&M information, and mitigation of at-risk activities.
• Drive continuous improvement, maintenance strategy optimization, materials staging improvements, standardized best practices, and planner development.

Requirements

• More than 12 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably with an international oil company in a direct or contract role.
• Technical degree or HNC certificate in engineering.
• Previous maintenance lead experience in an MTL or Maintenance Superintendent capacity.
• Practical experience with production facilities and strong understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, CMMS tools such as Maximo or SAP, and MS Project.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, prioritization, proactive execution, and continuous-improvement skills.
