TL;DR
Business Technical Analyst (Power BI/Healthcare): Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, ad-hoc reports, database solutions, and business applications for healthcare operations with an accent on data analysis, system design, and process automation. Focus on analyzing requirements, troubleshooting applications, evaluating financial impacts, and designing robust real-time solutions.
Location: Fully remote within the United States; travel may be required up to two times per year.
Salary: $70,100–$126,200 per year.

What you will do
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and ad-hoc reports for data analysis and validation.
- Analyze business processes, operational procedures, and trends to identify problems and recommend technical solutions.
- Design, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize business applications and systems.
- Create multi-user, real-time database solutions and automate or improve existing business processes.
- Gather requirements, prepare system design documentation, support testing and debugging, and provide business and technical expertise.
- Monitor project status, identify delivery risks, and implement corrective actions and mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 2 years of relevant programming experience with technologies such as SAS, SQL, VB.NET, Oracle, or Python, plus Power BI dashboard development.
- At least 3 years of related business analysis experience.
- Experience with Excel formulas, macros, and pivot tables.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Experience developing system designs, project plans, requirements, and facilitating alignment across departments.
Nice to have
- At least 1 year of healthcare experience.
- At least 1 year of ASP/ASP.NET experience.
- Master’s degree in a related field, such as Mathematics or Computer Science.
- SAS certification.
