Salary: $55,000–$62,000 per year, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.

What you will do
- Mobilize Toxicological Emergency Response Project personnel, equipment, sampling media, and emergency response supplies.
- Develop sampling strategies and conduct air, water, soil, noise, meteorological, and occupational exposure assessments.
- Represent the company on site with clients and regulatory agencies, provide status updates, cost estimates, and data evaluations.
- Prepare sampling work plans, health and safety plans, scientific reports, project summaries, invoices, and project records.
- Coordinate vendors and data managers, maintain environmental databases, identify trends, and support corrective actions.
- Lead response readiness initiatives, mentor response teams, assess exclusion zones, and ensure appropriate PPE and safety practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, environmental engineering, environmental health and safety, industrial hygiene, chemical engineering, toxicology, or a related discipline preferred; relevant TERP experience may substitute at the director’s discretion.
- More than one year of field experience is required; relevant master’s degree and field experience are preferred.
- Advanced computer skills on a Windows-based platform and the ability to work within a matrix reporting structure.
- Professional English communication skills are required.
- HAZWOPER certification, DISA clearance, TWIC clearance, a current driver’s license, and a current passport are required.
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, shifts of up to 24 hours when necessary, and in physically demanding environments using PPE and respirators.
Nice to have
- CIH, CSP, CHMM, or OSHT certification.
- Master’s degree in a relevant scientific, engineering, toxicology, or environmental health and safety discipline.
