IT Business Analyst

What you will do

• Study existing information processing systems and identify opportunities to improve effectiveness, production, and workflow.
• Analyze, document, and validate detailed business requirements using UML diagrams, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Maintain requirement artifacts throughout each phase of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Verify that requested requirements are implemented and that unnecessary features are excluded from the product.
• Act as the communication bridge between clients, stakeholders, project managers, and software development teams.
• Report directly to the project manager and/or client.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Up to 3 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in a customer-facing role.
• Good knowledge of software development processes, especially requirements analysis.
• Ability to accurately compose and manage business requirement artifacts throughout the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Good command of spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate with technical audiences and business users.
• Strong presentation, time management, client relationship, interpersonal, collaboration, and teamwork skills; willingness to travel to client sites when necessary.
