Senior Software Engineer (.NET/C#)

Location: Auckland, New Zealand; hybrid model with the option to work from home two days a week

What you will do

• Design, build, and deliver high-level software systems and customer experience improvements.
• Manage project commitments and timelines while collaborating across engineering, product, design, QA, SRE, UX, and delivery teams.
• Design and develop web service APIs and consume API clients.
• Create pragmatic, modular, and scalable code and solutions.
• Contribute to technical discussions, solve complex problems, and improve engineering practices.
• Mentor team members and take on increasing responsibility in leading engineering teams.

Requirements

• Commercial software engineering experience with proficiency in .NET and C#.
• Experience with software architecture, design, solution creation, and delivery.
• Familiarity with API web service design and API client consumption.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices and tooling.
• Pragmatic approach to delivering modular, scalable code.
• Must be authorised to work in New Zealand.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker.
• Experience with GraphQL.
• Experience with React and TypeScript.
