What you will do

• Support divisional communication plans, calendars, workplans and routine coordination with ESP teams and the Office of Communications.
• Assist with publication processes, including compiling inputs, checking titles and metadata, tracking proposals, coordinating clearances and preparing launch materials.
• Draft, edit, proofread and adapt news items, web stories, articles, press releases, newsletters, captions, talking points and other communication products.
• Prepare social media content, identify visual assets, support scheduling and monitor engagement and communication opportunities.
• Create or adapt basic visual assets, presentation materials, infographics and banners, and support video and multimedia production through scripting, storyboarding, captioning and media coordination.
• Provide communication support for events, campaigns and knowledge-sharing initiatives, maintain communication repositories and assist with monitoring and reporting.

Requirements

• University degree in communication, journalism, public relations, international relations, development studies, social sciences, graphic design, digital media, multimedia production, economics or a related discipline. Consultants with a bachelor's degree require two additional years of relevant experience.
• At least one year of relevant experience in communications, public information, editorial support, digital communication, social media, graphic design, multimedia production, event communication or related areas.
• Working knowledge of English is required.
• Experience drafting, editing, proofreading and adapting communication products for different audiences, formats and channels.
• Good organizational and digital skills, including deadline tracking, file management, collaborative platforms, Microsoft 365 tools and basic performance monitoring.
• Ability to translate technical information into clear, accurate and audience-oriented communication materials.

• Knowledge of another hirify.global official language.
