Senior Operations Analysis

Location: Johannesburg; hybrid, with in-person work at an assigned hirify.global office at least two days per week.

What you will do

• Analyze operational processes, systems, controls, audit findings, and regulatory observations to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Perform root-cause analysis and drive process optimization initiatives that improve service quality, customer experience, and productivity.
• Review, develop, maintain, and govern operational processes, SOPs, controls, and supporting documentation.
• Act as the operations systems and process subject matter expert, gathering requirements and translating business needs into process and technology improvements.
• Lead UAT activities, including test plans, test cases, defect management, and business sign-off.
• Identify opportunities for AI, intelligent automation, data analytics, and digital technologies to reduce manual work and improve operational performance.

Requirements

• Certification in business analysis, with knowledge of business management, information systems, project management, internal audit, or risk.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent process improvement certification.
• At least 3 years of experience in operational analysis, business analysis, process improvement, or operational excellence.
• Experience with requirements gathering, SOP development, process optimization, UAT leadership, systems analysis, audit remediation, and compliance initiatives.
• Ability to work with Operations, Compliance, Risk, Project, and Technology stakeholders and translate business requirements into technology solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, reporting, organization, and time-management skills; intermediate Excel skills are advantageous.
