What you will do
- Lead the Generation Data & Digital value stream and align it with Generation and wider business strategy.
- Own the Generation data and digital portfolio, including investment priorities, initiatives and resources.
- Deliver measurable improvements in asset availability, operational performance, risk management and operating costs.
- Partner with the Generation Leadership Team to define the operational, process and behavioural changes required to achieve strategic objectives.
- Own outcomes for transformation programmes, including the DigiGEN digital generation programme.
Requirements
- Senior leadership experience with accountability for enterprise-scale data and digital outcomes.
- Experience integrating business technology, operational technology, data and analytics in a safe, secure and well-governed environment.
- Technical depth to engage with architects, engineers and ICT leaders while maintaining a business-led, outcomes-focused perspective.
- Strong understanding of cyber security, resilience, enterprise architecture, technology lifecycle management and technology investment decisions.
- Strong commercial judgement and experience building high-performing, multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience embedding modern ways of working, such as product-led delivery, OKRs and strengths-based leadership, in operational environments; understanding of tikanga Māori and Te Ao Māori.
