What you will do
- Conduct chemical analyses of mining samples, including gold and environmental materials, using WDXRF technology.
- Prepare and process samples while maintaining analytical accuracy and precision.
- Interpret analytical results, prepare reports, and maintain detailed records.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of WDXRF equipment.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate on improvements to testing methods and stay current with XRF technology developments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Proven laboratory experience, preferably in the mining industry.
- Proficiency with WDXRF technology for chemical analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety and quality standards.
Nice to have
- Experience analyzing gold and environmental samples.
- Familiarity with other analytical techniques and laboratory instrumentation.
