Team Leader Supplier Quality Management CoE R&WOC&IP (Medical Devices)

Location: Hybrid role based at the plant in Mirandola, Emilia-Romagna, Italy

Salary: €55,000–€70,000 gross annual salary (RAL) + MBO

What you will do

• Develop supplier qualification strategies and lead supplier and material qualification activities.
• Establish supplier audit programs, quality requirements, specifications, control plans, and Quality Assurance Agreements.
• Monitor supplier performance, complaints, escalations, change management, risk, ESG, and compliance activities.
• Drive supplier improvement, supplier development, CAPA, quality planning, and inspection optimization initiatives.
• Build and develop the Supplier Quality Management organization, harmonizing processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Lead Supplier Quality Managers across CoE plants and coordinate global projects with procurement, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and external supplier stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Medical Technology, a related technical field, or an equivalent technical qualification.
• Extensive experience in Supplier Quality Management or Quality Management within a regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 820, and medical device quality requirements.
• Proven team leadership and experience managing cross-functional and international projects.
• Experience with supplier audits, supplier development, quality negotiations, FMEA, 8D, CAPA, process validation, SAP ERP, and supplier management tools.
• Fluent written and spoken English required; German is an advantage.
