What you will do
- Develop high-performance, scalable, secure software using Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, and SQL.
- Build and maintain real-time data processing and storage functionality for the telematics platform.
- Create fast, responsive user interfaces and participate in prototypes, minimum viable products, and proofs of concept.
- Document requirements, technical designs, architecture, implementation schedules, and reusable engineering practices.
- Perform peer reviews, investigate bugs using call stacks and performance data, and identify root causes.
- Provide technical support to support staff and resellers and participate in a 24x7 rotating on-call schedule.
Requirements
- 1–5 years of experience in a related field.
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of multiple general-purpose programming languages and experience with Python, Google Compute Engine, and Google BigQuery.
- Working knowledge of cloud computing with GCP, AWS, and/or Azure.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Ability to work onsite in Dubai and participate in a 24x7 rotating on-call schedule.
