AI-Native Engineer, New Grad (Hybrid) (AI): Building production fintech features, backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and machine learning systems for B2B spend management across Latin America with an accent on applied AI, financial infrastructure, and end-to-end ownership. Focus on shipping reliable code, developing risk scoring and fraud signals, and using AI agents, RAG, evaluations, or fine-tuning in production workflows.
Location: Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico; hybrid work with time split between the office, customer visits, and home. Relocation to Mexico City is encouraged and supported.

What you will do
- Ship production code and deliver features for real customers and financial transactions.
- Own features end to end, including design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and fixes.
- Use AI for coding, debugging, testing, research, and workflow automation, while improving how the team applies AI.
- Collaborate directly with Product, Design, and senior engineers.
- Work on B2B fintech challenges involving multiple countries, regulators, and financial consequences.
- Choose between Product Engineering and Data & ML Engineering, contributing to backend services, APIs, interfaces, pipelines, models, risk scoring, fraud signals, or spend intelligence.
Requirements
- New graduate or early-career software engineer without prior full-time software experience.
- Technical foundation in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, physics, or equivalent demonstrated ability.
- Evidence of building software, such as a GitHub project, deployed application, used repository, hackathon project, open-source contribution, or practical bot.
- Experience building with AI, such as agents, RAG, evaluations, fine-tunes, or automation tools, and daily use of AI coding tools.
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and systems thinking, plus ownership and the ability to complete work independently.
- English is required for daily reading, writing, and technical discussions.

- Basic Portuguese proficiency or willingness to learn Portuguese.
