Electrical TPM (Wearables)

Location: On-site in Bellevue or San Francisco, United States

Salary: $175,000–$250,000 per year

Sesame is developing compact wearable computers with voice agents, integrating sensing, computing, and software into a natural user experience.

What you will do

• Own the electrical program schedule from architecture through EVT, DVT, and PVT, including board and flex releases, bring-up milestones, and validation criteria.
• Coordinate execution across Electrical, Silicon, Firmware, Product Design, Manufacturing, contract manufacturers, and component suppliers.
• Manage sensing subsystem programs, including sensor selection, tuning, calibration, firmware integration, and factory testing.
• Plan prototype materials and build matrices, coordinate SMT and system builds, and manage supplier quotes, purchase orders, quantities, and deliveries.
• Lead electrical failure-analysis triage, issue tracking, decision logs, and weekly program status updates.
• Track long-lead and end-of-life component risks and travel to supplier and contract-manufacturer sites for builds and bring-up as needed.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in hardware program management or consumer-electronics electrical design, including at least 2 years managing programs.
• Hands-on experience releasing PCBs and flex circuits and taking them through prototype builds such as EVT, DVT, and PVT.
• Working knowledge of sensor integration, power and battery systems, board-level bring-up, and electrical debugging.
• Experience managing PCB, SMT, and component suppliers, including quotes, purchase orders, and delivery schedules.
• Ability to work on-site in Bellevue or San Francisco and travel internationally up to 25%.

Nice to have

• Experience with wearables or other small, battery-powered devices.
• Experience with custom silicon or ASIC programs and firmware integration.
• Experience integrating sensors into body-worn devices, including tuning and factory testing.
• Experience with contract manufacturers and tools such as Linear or Arena.
• Startup experience or ownership of new-product programs at a large company.
