Product Operations Intern, Rewards (Fintech)

Location: Remote from Mexico

Salary: 2,800,000 COP monthly

What you will do

• Review receipt-scanning submissions against validation rules and make consistent approval or rejection decisions.
• Identify unusual receipt formats, retailer-specific issues, duplicates, and potential abuse, then document edge cases.
• Write reproducible bug reports and actionable feedback for engineering teams.
• Prioritize improvements based on customer impact, fraud risk, and operational cost.
• Track fixes through the backlog, verify shipped improvements, and flag regressions.
• Maintain review guidelines and help simplify, automate, and improve internal workflows and tools.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured, logical approach to identifying patterns and defining rules.
• Effective written and verbal communication, including the ability to write actionable bug reports and explain trends clearly.
• Interest in consumer fintech, rewards and loyalty programs, product operations, or products operating at scale.
• Demonstrated experience with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required.
• Internship, project, or extracurricular experience in operations, product, fintech, data analysis, trust and safety, or startups is a plus.
